Songs of the Week For the Laetha. For the Liathane. (Spooky!) For the Liathane, again. For the Laetha.
Songs of the Week For the Liathane. For the Laetha, and for Eloise. For the Dierne. For the Ophelia. For the Ophelia & Liathane.
Songs of the Week For the Laetha. For Aeron Blake, and for Killian. For the Clarene. For the Liathane.
Songs of the Week For the Laethelia. For Abel and Alynah Blake. For the Laetha and Liathane. For the Clarene.
Songs of the Week From Hawthorne: “I called your name/til the fever broke.” And for all the others: “There as I flew/Forgot all prayers of joining you.“ “Something meaty for the main course/That’s a fine looking high horse.“ For the Dierne, as with most of Eilish’s songs. But this, this is from Hawthorne. “He’s such a pretty liar/And by that I meanHe said he’d change.”
Songs of the Week For the Laetha. Another one for the Laetha. https://open.spotify.com/track/6PgCzjRhufBQCCoT2bKJe2 More for the Laetha. And the last one for the Laetha.
Songs of the Week Makes me think of the Flower Maidens and Rabbit Troupe and most especially Alynah Blake. A song for the Dierne. For too many spirits to name or count. Specifically this line: “This is what you asked for/Such a pretty face/What was it underneath the mask for?“
Songs of the Week It’s been a long time since I’ve written about the Dierne Pallis as the embodiment/representation of devotion and piety, but he will always be that to me. Once he is cast out of the West by Mircea he pursues his adopted home with a relentlessness that eventually sees him returning as a proper ruler to the land. Not only is the land his church but the Laetha, as the representative of the West, is his church as well. Another very, very Dieric song. A song I picture the Dierne Pallis singing to himself, or to the Laetha.
