It’s been a long time since I’ve written about the Dierne Pallis as the embodiment/representation of devotion and piety, but he will always be that to me. Once he is cast out of the West by Mircea he pursues his adopted home with a relentlessness that eventually sees him returning as a proper ruler to the land. Not only is the land his church but the Laetha, as the representative of the West, is his church as well.
